About Us - Meet the Team

Hayden

Hayden is the founder of Kids Connect, built from a lifelong passion for sport, supporting mental health & helping kids to grow with confidence. After playing sports throughout his life and completing certificates in Fitness and Sports & Recreation, Hayden realised his purpose wasn’t just about playing sports and coaching, it was about teaching, guiding and empowering young people.

With experience in sport, practical qualifications and real-world coaching, Hayden brings energy, enthusiasm and a deep understanding of how physical activity and wellbeing go hand-in-hand. He has also completed certifications in Understanding Children’s Mental Health, Children’s Social & Emotional Wellbeing, Engaging with Children and Child Safety courses, and is currently studying a Certificate in Individual Support to further strengthen his skills in providing quality, person-centered care.

You’ll often find Hayden cheering on his favourite sports teams or exploring creative ways to make programs fun, inclusive and meaningful for all participants.

Corey

Corey joined Kids Connect because he has a deep passion for sport and believes strongly in the importance of positive mental health awareness. Growing up playing a variety of sports, he developed a love for physical activity and teamwork from a young age. His time coaching football and basketball also taught him that working with young people is a privilege and inspired him to help kids build confidence, resilience and wellbeing through movement and connection.

With a Certificate in Group Fitness, Corey brings both practical experience and professional knowledge to our programs. He uses his background in sport and coaching to create supportive, engaging activities that help children feel empowered and successful.

When he’s not at work, you’ll often find Corey watching AFL, NBA or whatever sport is on TV, always cheering on his team and staying connected to the energy and community that sport brings.
